This section of the Key includes an excerpt from the Delta Gamma Anchora, a publication of the Delta Gamma Fraternity. The Anchora article provides a detailed summation of the nine ladies' fraternities in existence in 1885, and notes that Kappa Alpha Theta,Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity, and Delta Gamma are the most prominent. The dates of founding and number of members in each fraternity are given. The article also includes an editorial note which identifies which types of girls might or might not want to join a fraternity.

In this unusually long exchanges section, the Key Editorial Board begins with a review of publications from Kappa Sigma, Kappa Alpha Theta, and I. C. Sororis, all of which are found to be lacking. The I. C. Sorosis is critiqued for its choice of an arrow as a symbol and the newly established Kappa Alpha Journal is mocked for one of its poems. The Delta Upsilon Quarterly is said to have a "real editor" and the Purple and Gold is said to be edited by a "real poet." A poem from the Purple and Gold is given a two page review. The Delta Kappa Upsilon Quarterly's tone of self-adulation is mocked, and a fiery, three-page creative story follows in which each publication is imagined as a mythological figure and accordingly complimented, mocked, or otherwise characterized. The Delta Tau Delta Crescent is complimented for its "snap and energy." Once again, the editors of the Key mock the Beta Theta Pi Publication, this time by attacking the city of Cincinnati where the Beta Theta Pi is published. The Key editor writes a witty, feminist criticism of the editor of the Sigma Chi for calling her "fair editress," in which she dubs him "Pretty Mr. Editor." Additionally, the Key editors argue against the Delta Upsilon Quarterly critique of the use of foreign languages within fraternity publications. This isn't a newspaper, they argue, this is a fraternity publication, and fraternity members may be expected to know Latin, French, etc. Finally, the Delta Upsilon Quarterly's new covers are given a backhanded compliment, and the Depauw Monthly's improvement is complemented.

[Beta] Beta reports that they are stronger than ever. After initiating five new members their ranks number 14, and their study of music, literature, and current events is well-organized and ernest. They were sorrowed by the death of Lucia Heaton's mother, which caused them to postpone their anniversary banquet. On October 17th, they met at the invitation of Miss Marie Liotard to wish her farewell in her new job as a teacher in a private boarding school on Staten Island. On Halloween the [Beta] Betas and Kappas met at the home of Gertrude Lee.

Eta began the year with only five active members, but they have initiated five new members for a total of 10. Eta's resident alumnae have formed a Kappa reading club alongside almost all the active Kappas, and meetings are held on Saturday evenings. The meetings include reading and discussing essays and sketches. By strange coincidence, two of Eta's alumnae were married on the same day.

Theta has adopted a "quality not quantity" mentality, and despite beginning the year with a meager four members, they have only initiated three new members for a total of seven. Their new literary program includes individual focus on one author per meeting, with every fourth meeting left to the study of the Kappa constitution and bylaws. On May 21st, Theta gave a reception at the home of Mrs. Hayes. One of their number has been married, and another has sadly resigned from Kappa on account of opposition of friends to secret societies in general.
