Eta began the year with only five active members, but they have initiated five new members for a total of 10. Eta's resident alumnae have formed a Kappa reading club alongside almost all the active Kappas, and meetings are held on Saturday evenings. The meetings include reading and discussing essays and sketches. By strange coincidence, two of Eta's alumnae were married on the same day.
