Pierce, former Executive Secretary-Treasury, describes the newly-created position of Director of Chapters, addresses increased difficulty in upgrading pledge training programs, and praises the fraternity trend towards philanthropy projects. President Barbeck sees the future as a "strong, through troubled picture." She urges Kappas to avoid a "code of relaxed moral permissiveness" that is increasingly common on college campuses, and to take advantage of the dialogue and exchange of ideas that the fraternity system offers.
