The 1986 Candlelight Banquet featured music, including a performance by Music Chairman Martha Rosenbaum. The Candlelight Banquet service began in 1935 at the Alpha Province Convention. Grand President Charlotte Ware passed one of her candlesticks to a delegate from the oldest chapter and one to the youngest, symbolizing the eternal flame lighting the way for each generation.
