Edmund Whitman to Gertrude Lee Letter, June 30, 1898

Attorney Edmund Whitman updates Gertrude Lee on the Beta Beta chapter charter withdrawal case. The Massachusetts injunction has made the proceedings thus far void. Grand President Bertha Richmond testified for two hours and was made to read McKelway's letter. Whitman makes his opinion known on fraternity attorney A.C. Burnham. In a postscript, Whitman adds that after the judge's decision, Richmond will now write Grand Secretary Carla Sargent to stop the vote.
