Editorial: The Russian Novel


The editors argue that if some common literary work is to be adopted by the whole fraternity, it ought to be the study of a Russian novel in French. Works by Tolstoy, Tourgueniev, or Gogol are suggested as candidates for works to be read, discussed, performed, analyzed, and translated.
