During Charlotte's term as the second Grand President, she also maintained her positions at Boston University, as Junior Proctor, Senior Class President, and President of Gamma Delta. Charlotte's wedding candlesticks were presented to the Fraternity, and she initiated the Passing of the Light ceremony. When she wasn't devoting her time to Kappa, she was making an international name for herself in the agricultural industry. She produced the first certified infant milk in New England, saving countless lives, and continued her husband's family dairy business. The Most Outstanding Chapter Award was created in her honor, and is still given at every Convention.
