Beth served as Kappas first "President." Before her term, she was the first adviser to Mu Chapter, President of Mu's House Board, and later President of Mu. At the national level, she served as the first President of Delta Province, Chairman of Budgeting and Bookkeeping, and Director of Provinces. Her term came during the Second World War, and continued to support the active war work. Kappa Service Women's Centers assisted 225,000 women during the war, and the Nora Wain Fund for Refugee Children received great support from both Kappa sisters and the American public.
