Editorial Note: How much shall we wear our Kappa pins?

The Key, Vol. 4, No. 4, September 1887

The reasons one editor wears her pin are: its meaning, its associations which are rich in inspiration, the memories it brings, and the recognition it causes in other Kappas. One must not wear a pin on all occasions, because it become common, and it might be painful for girls who have been "barred out." The pin ought to be a symbol full of meaning to be worn among Kappas who understand its significance.
