Editorial: The Russian Novel

The Key, Vol. 4, No. 2, March 1887

The editors argue that if some common literary work is to be adopted by the whole fraternity, it ought to be the study of a Russian novel in French. Works by Tolstoy, Tourgueniev, or Gogol are suggested as candidates for works to be read, discussed, performed, analyzed, and translated.
