Chapter Letters: Tau - Syracuse University, December 1886

The Key, Vol. 4, No. 1, December 1886

Inspired by the Convention at Akron, [Beta] Tau has initiated six girls for a total roll of 17, the longest in chapter history. [Beta] Tau followed the example of some Western chapters by opening their chapter rooms to the uninitiated and on occasion to some ladies of the college. Generous [Beta] Tau alumnae have also gifted a new piano to the chapter. Minnie A. Barney, the poet of the convention, is now in Meadville Pennsylvania on the editorial staff of the "Chautauquan," for which her sister Kappas are very proud.
