The Key urges the Kappa Alpha Theta to show more humility, and to use the full, Christian names of their contributors in order to avoid the "foolish sentimentality" that comes from nicknames. The Key editors vehemently disagree with the editors of the Phi Kappa Psi Shield which encourage the practice of rushing. The Kappa Alpha Theta is found to be good, but not entirely satisfactory, as "the literary department is lamentably deficient." The latest Chi Phi Quarterly is lauded by the Key, but the latest Sigma Chi is found lacking in content of general interest to non-fraternity members. The Key wishes the Sigma Nu Delta publication success in its new western home, and compliments the Delta Tau Delta for its article on fraternities. The Key also compliments the Phi Delta Theta's new fraternity manual and songbook publications. The Phi Gamma Delta Quarterly is mocked for being overly-invested in menus, and the Kappa Sigma Quarterly is praised for its denouement of secret mottos and passwords.
