A New Profession for Women

The Golden Key, Vol. 3, No. 3, March 1886

This article claims that, "there is no reason why a woman cannot (sic) master all the scientific and mechanical knowledge necessary to an architect." It discusses the manner in which one might become an architect, traditionally by apprenticeship and now by a course of instruction. It lists the five schools in the United States which provide a Bachelor of Architecture degree.
