Other Fraternities, June 1885

The Golden Key, Vol. 3, No. 1, June 1885

In Other Fraternities the Key reports that Phi Kappa Psi has stopped receiving honorary members, and that both Phi Delta Theta and Delta Tau Delta have organized new alumni chapters. The anti-fraternity law has finally been abolished at Purdue, and the University president is now an honorary member of Sigma Chi. Of the seven ladies fraternities in the United States, most are local. Delta Gamma and Kappa Alpha Theta both have Grand Chapter governments, whereas Phi Kappa Psi is planning to exchange its old Grand Chapter Government for a more progressive government by council. The I. C. Sorosis publishes "the Arrow" and Kappa Alpha Theta has just begun to publish their own journal.
