Upsilon celebrated its third anniversary with a banquet on April 18, 1884. Three guests from Epsilon visited for the anniversary, and earlier in the winter Upsilon received a visit from Prof. Myra Goodwin. Although their numbers have diminished due to ill health, Upsilon keeps up her literary practice by reading epic poetry. This term Homer's Odyssey was studied alongside Kappa history and Baird's Manual of American Fraternities.
