Editorial Jottings, May 1882

The Golden Key, Vol. 1, No. 1, May 1882

Multiple topics are addressed briefly in this note by The Key's editorial board: an apology that the paper was one month late and that Iota chapter monopolised the writing, a message of sympathy to Mrs. Livermore who had promised to write a letter to the paper but who fell ill, and an announcement of the 1882 National Convention in Madison, Wisconsin in August. The editorial includes an announcement of new chapters at the Northwestern University and at Iowa State University. There is also a criticism of Peurdue University for disbanding the Delta Delta Chapter of Sigma Chi Fraternity, the first Fraternity at Purdue.
