The Key Editorial Board proposes that although there is a tendency to regulate the role of heroism to romanticism, a hero who arises from society awakes all members to the possibility that they may also become heros in their own right. They advise that all Kappas ought to resemble Kate Shelly in "her courage, perseverance, sympathy, and humanity," so that they too may be visible heroines.
