Virginia Gildersleeve Pinstripe Suit, c. 1946

This outfit of a dark pinstripe suit jacket and skirt with white crepe blouse belonged to Virginia Gildersleeve. A member of the Beta Epsilon chapter at Barnard College, Gildersleeve went on to serve as the dean of Barnard College.
