Beta Beta Chapter Protest Before the Grand Council, Sections I-VI, I-III, and I-IX, August 25, 1898

"Before the Grand Council of Kappa Kappa Gamma in the matter of the withdrawal of the charter of Beta Beta chapter" is a set of three protest related typed documents authored by the Beta Beta chapter, all dated August 25, 1898, from the 1898 National Convention. One part is often called the demand, and is numbered I-VI. Another one-page part is numbered I-III and called allegations, or answer to charges. A longer part is numbered I-IX and often called the protest, as well as answer to charges, as it details the chapter's case in correspondence. This full set includes two copies each of the demand and the allegations. These three parts are available separately in the collection, and are included in other related correspondence. These documents were created in response to Grand President Bertha Richmond's August 9 notice, as well as a May 23 letter, all available in the collection.
