Doris Seward depicts a scene between an older woman and her granddaughter, in which the grandmother speaks about the friends she has met at Kappa conventions and about the Habiteers, Kappas who have attended five or more conventions. The two also talk about the purpose of conventions, including quoting from a text written by former Grand President Evelyn Wight Allan. An edited version of this text appeared on pages 45-46 of the Winter 1965 issue of The Key.
