Constitution, By Laws and Standing Rules of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity 1938 Eighteenth Edition

This version of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Constitution and Standing Rules includes amendments made during the 33rd National Convention. Following an index, the document opens with a preface written by Executive Secretary Clara O. Pierce. In this preface, Pierce discusses the history of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Constitution and standing rules. She also mentions that during the 1930 convention the corporation of the Fraternity under the "not for profit" clause was authorized. The 14th edition made changes necessary to accommodate those legal requirements. The eighteen articles of the Constitution are all covered in detail. The Standing Rules cover a range of topics from convention, duties of Grand and Chapter Officers, chapter archives, province conventions, and fraternity policies.
