Portland Alumnae Association Delegate Mildred Hopkins asserts that her association's priority is assisting the chapters at the University of Oregon and Oregon Agricultural College. They held benefit bridge parties and rummage sales in an effort to raise money for Bet Omega's house fund. Among their philanthropic achievements, the association devoted much time to the children of the Fruit and Flower Mission Day Nursery.
