Grand President Bertha Richmond sends the chapters this cover letter and encloses a separate official document, what is later referred to as the June 23 circular letter. (The June 23 circular letter is also available.) In these materials, Richmond announces that the fraternity constitution has been made public. There is a note on the back, Plaintiffs' Exhibit 24, with descriptive information, 'Calls attention to publication of charter and asks that notice be given to alumnae.' Presumably this letter served as evidence in the Beta Beta chapter lawsuit against the fraternity.
