Grand Secretary Carla Sargent sends a typed letter to the chapters. It is noted as May 23, as well as Copy 4, 16. It concerns two matters, that the Tulane University petition has been refused by the Grand Council, and the vote on 'limiting the membership of Beta Beta to those who shall have been initiated at the close of the present academic year.' This latter chapter vote is called simultaneously as the Grand Council vote. At this time, the Beta Beta chapter's charter is under consideration for withdrawal.
