Beta Beta chapter telegraphs Grand President Bertha Richmond, asking her to explain the question evidently under discussion regarding their chapter (the Beta Beta chapter charter withdrawal). Hillsdale College had notified them. There is a note on the back, Plaintiffs' Exhibit 8, with descriptive information. Presumably this telegram served as evidence in the Beta Beta chapter lawsuit against the fraternity. This telegram is included in a Beta Beta chapter pamphlet, available in the collection.
