Mary Field to Josephine Sarles Letter, May 5, 1884

In this letter, founder Mary Field discusses the likely mythical 1871 Convention. She is the only founder or fraternity member who claimed it had happened. She said that the first gathering, or convention, as they called it, was attended by delegates from Knoxville, and possibly Rockport.
