Miss Doty researched the early days of the fraternity, and sent letters to the founders and early members. She asked Bella Scott about the 1876 and 1878 National Conventions, and her role in the convention sessions. In her reply, Scott apologizes for not having more information, but she did have autographs from the 28 young women who participated in the 1876 National Convention.
