Richmond provides her Grand Council position on the matter, as Grand President. Richmond admits to a clerical mis-timing in notification. Richmond asserts membership in Beta Beta chapter is usually 40% of the number of women in its college. This letter is included in a Beta Beta chapter pamphlet, also available in the collection.
