Betty Holmes and Vivien Springer Martin to Grand Council Letter, c. 1934

Betty Holmes Cochran and Vivien Springer Martin write to the Grand Council with a proposal for a national philanthropic project to support educational work with disabled children in general and the R. J. DeLano School for Crippled Children in Kansas City in particular, which is locally supported by Kappas Katherine Sellers Delano and Maxine Christopher Shutz. Cochran and Martin describe the work done by the school and argue that support for disabled children is particularly suited to Kappa Kappa Gamma's mission. The proposal is to be discussed at the 1934 National Convention in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.
