Miss Doty researched the early days of the fraternity, and sent letters to the founders and early members. She asked Kate Hight about her duties to Delta. In her reply, Hight wrote about Delta becoming Grand Chapter, and mentions the 1876 and 1878 National Conventions, but advises that she also confirm with Mrs. Hill.
