Mary Stewart Field to U.S. Record and Pension Office Letter and Reply, January 18-22, 1897

Field writes to the U.S. Record and Pension office to gain information about her ancestors. She wanted to join the Daughters of the Revolution, and in the process, pieced together parts of her family history. The U.S. War Department provides some information about Samuel Walker, who served as 2nd lieutenant in the Revolutionary War.
