I Had Polio Magazine Clipping, January 1949


Harriet Ford Griswold reflects on her hospitalization from polio and the frustration of being separated from her family. She goes on to describe her physical therapy and return to normal life as she learned to accommodate for her disability. Four photographs of Griswold accompany the article. Griswold spoke on this topic at the 1950 National Convention of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
