Two Akronites Enjoying Quebec Women's Fraternity Convention Newspaper Clipping, June 28, 1936


The first photocopied article recounts the experiences of three Akron Alumnae Association delegates, Mrs. Thomas Kolb, Lenore Deniston Goehring Carpenter, and Nora Elizabeth Wilson Tomkinson at the 1936 National Convention in Montebello, Quebec. In the second article, Longstreet recounts plans for society ladies' summer trips to Europe, including Mrs. Walter H. Thomas's departure with other members of Kappa Kappa Gamma to Europe directly following the Convention; this article also includes a photograph of Miss Florence Hyde, one of the travellers described. The third article describes some of the events that will be held at the Seigniory Club in Montebello, Quebec, Canada in the summer of 1936, including the Kappa Kappa Gamma Convention.
