President of Smith College To Be Feted Newspaper Clipping, October 10, 1938


The first photocopied article describes the visit by the president of Smith College to Milwaukee to deliver the Founders' Day address at Milwaukee-Downer College and plans to celebrate the founding of Kappa Kappa Gamma at Monmouth College, including with a report from the 1936 National Convention in Montebello, Quebec, Canada. The second article announces the awarding of graduate fellowships to a group of Kappas at the Convention. The third and fourth articles announce the opening of the 1936 National Convention and name some of the prominent Kappas attending. The fifth article announces the election of a new grand president, Rheva Ott Shryock, and other chapter officers, while the sixth article discusses the work of several local Kappas to organize the convention after their return to St. Louis
