Monmouth Gavel, 1928


The Monmouth gavel, carved from the walnut stair rail of "Old Main," and presented to the fraternity in 1928 by Mrs. Thomas H. McMichael, Pi Beta Phi, the wife of the fourth Monmouth College president. The gavel was partially destroyed in by the 1965 fire at the Headquarters.
