TIRR President's Award Sculpture, 1983


This award from the Texas Institute of Rehabilitation and Research (TIRR) features a copper statue of a boy breaking chains that bind his wrists and reaching toward the sky. In 1983, TIRR selected the Houston Alumnae Association for the award, which is given to an organization that has exemplified concern and devotion to disabled persons.
