The first issue of The Hootlet includes a welcome message from former fraternity president Ruth Kadel Seacrest and the Beta Kappa Chapter and provides information on credentials, province get togethers, a bridge tournament, a special train log, meals, baggage, train schedules, travel companions, information desk, Hoot office, the first day's program, and a new Kappa song. The issue also provides a map of the Sun Valley Hotel and sports facilities.
