Lois Lake Shapard (seated) greets Lucretia Donnell Newman. Lucretia painted the portrait of Lois hanging above them. The painting hangs in the Gamma Phi chapter house. Lois was honored by Dallas alumnae and Gamma Phi actives at the Founders' Day celebration. This photograph was featured on page 39 of the February 1955 issue of The Key.
