Mary Steiner Hardy poses with some Alameda County, California Exchange Students at Pavlovsk, the Czar's Summer Palace, near Pushkin, USSR. Mary accompanied 40 Alameda County students to the Soviet Union in an exchange with 40 Soviet students from Troitsk who visited the Oakland-Alameda area. This photograph was featured on page 17 of the Fall 1990 issue of The Key.
