Adele "Lucky" Knowles Herzberger was chosen to receive the Assistance League's coveted Silver Bell Award as the Colorado Springs' community's outstanding woman volunteer. This and other honors bestowed on Lucky are representative of her volunteer work in more than 30 organizations during the past 40 years.
