Ruth Johnson Holden enjoys retirement by circumnavigating the world and living full time on the 48 foot ketch "Phonic Ear." The boat is named after one of the devices invented by Ruth to aid those with speech or hearing handicaps. A portion of this photograph was featured on page 35 of the Fall 1979 issue of The Key.
