Katharine Wade Pennell announces her retirement in 1972 as Fraternity Executive Secretary, after serving Kappa 27 years. Pennell had been a member of Headquarters staff since 1945. This photograph was featured on page 37 of the Fall 1972 issue of the Key, as well as on page 202 of the Fall 1977 issue of The Key.
