Sammye Jo Fuller Miller is one of eight teachers to receive Teacher Awards in the Fort Worth, Texas School System. Sammye Jo and and another outstanding teacher received $3,000 to further a third grade "learning center" project they developed jointly. A portion of this photograph was featured on page 39 of the Fall 1973 issue of The Key.
