Hazel Fenton Schermerhorn was the first Kappa nominated for national office in the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. Hazel was nominated for the position of organizing secretary general. Hazel's ancestor is Elder William Brewster. This photograph was featured on page 343 of the December 1937 issue of The Key.
