Beverly Pfeifer Lynch is a university librarian at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is the president-elect of the American Library Association (ALA). The president of the ALA is the elected leader of the world's oldest and largest library organization. This photograph was featured on page 23 of the Winter 1984 issue of The Key.
