Janet McMahon and Staff Sergeant Elbridge Gerry Brown III kneel at the altar during their wedding in the Wurttemberg-Baden Royal Chapel in Heidelberg Castle, Germany on June 19, 1946. It was the first wedding in the chapel in ten years, and the first American and the first non-royal wedding ever held there. This image was featured on pg. 295 of the October 1946 issue of The Key.
