French Children in Line for Drinks at Champtretots Photograph, 1948


Children line up for drinks at the summer camp in Champtretots, where several children from Meudon, France, were sent by Kappa Kappa Gamma. From 1946-1952, the Dorothy Canfield Fisher French Relief Project of Kappa Kappa Gamma provided aid to French children affected by World War II. They sponsored summer camps, sent financial aid to schools, and provided food and clothing for the children.
