Elizabeth Evensen was able to bodysurf on snow by being pulled behind a snowmobile. She works for Antarctic Support Associates who assisted the National Science Foundation's grantees in pursuit of scientific research. Elizabeth was in charge of all the cleaning and laundry facilities on base. This photograph was featured on page 3 of the Summer 1995 issue of The Key.
