Lilla Leach Portrait Photograph, 1964

Fifty-year member Lilla Irvin Leach, along with her husband John R. Leach, is credited with the discovery of a rare botanical plant, which prompted the U.S. Forest Service to set aside about 3000 acres in Oregon to be known as the Big Craggies Botanical Area. This photograph was featured on page 61 of the Autumn 1964 issue of The Key.
