Alice Abel was honored as the 1980 Lincoln Woman of the Year by the Nebraska Arthritis Foundation for her outstanding contributions to education and the arts and to numerous state and local civic organizations. This photograph was featured on page 16 of the Fall 1981 issue of The Key.
